EyeC++ 1.0

The EyeC++ library is a high-performance, high-quality, C++ class library intended for both image file format conversion and image viewing tasks. It supports all of the more common file formats as well as a handful of perhaps a little bit more esoteric ones. Pricing is differentiated so that you pay only for those file format 'modules' that you need. Full source code is supplied.

Technical features include: Handles 'color look-up table' images as well as 'true color' images. High quality image resampling algorithms. High quality image dithering and palette optimization algorithms for color-depth reductions. Precise color adjustment algorithms. Supports several kinds of supplemental image-text information. 'Transparency' information can be converted between formats that supports it, both using 'color keying' and 'alpha channel' information. Very fast decoding of images. MMX instruction set support. Image 'caching' and background 'preloading' support.

Requirements: Windows 9X/ME/NT/2000/XP. Intel Pentium or later processor (MMX used if available). Supported compiler is Visual C++ 6.0.

The EyeC++ library serves as the basis of FMJ-Software's Image Eye (an image viewer) and Any Image (an image converter) products. Image Eye has been on the market for several years and has been used by many thousands of people. This should hopefully be something of an indication of the maturity and the reliability of the library.
